Iranian official media on Wednesday said 3,117 people were killed during protests which first erupted in late December and which activists say were suppressed with a deadly crackdown. here are many versions of what happened in the country during the weeks of protests. There’s the regime’s stance, and then there are the testimonies of those that have loved ones who were killed.
