French far-right leader Marine Le Pen was questioned for the second day as part of her appeal trial regarding accusations of embezzlement of EU funds by her party for several years. The morning started with Le Pen admitting “negligence”, while the lawyer for the European Parliament in the afternoon went on the attack, accusing her of using “simple denials” which do not explain how millions of euros in missing public funds.
